1ST QTR. NOL COMMUNITY DIALOGUE

1ST QTR.  NOL COMMUNITY DIALOGUE.

*_TOPIC_*: NENWE FOR PEACEFUL, HARMONIZED & _CAPACITY ORIENTED_ SELECTION OF COMMUNITY LEADERSHIP* : _THE STATUS QUO HAS FAILED OUR PEOPLE -  REPEATEDLY_.

HERE'S THE SCHEDULE:

RUNNING THEME:  *1ST QTR 2024 NENWE COMMUNITY DIALOGUE*

DATE: *SUN, MARCH 3RD, 2024*.

TIME: *5:00 PM, LAGOS*

VENUE: *ZOOM MEETING*

Further details of the program will be released in the coming days.

In our history, as a people and culture, we valued honor, honesty, hard work, wisdom, gallantry, mutually unqualified love, and the promotion of peaceful coexistence among ourselves and our neighbors.

The history of our people, as passed down to us, also bears witness to the truth that our forebears looked for those defining characteristics in selecting some of their own for public service and leadership in the community from town criers, to the Pinnacle of the leadership rug.

The mantle of leadership didn't  always fall on the wealthy, the powerful, or the politically connected.

Those who came before us certainly didn't condone inappropriate ascension to leadership roles and deliberately snobbing the mandatory consent of our people.

It is common knowledge that this is the ugly status quo burdening & bothering the conscionable majority of our people - and it has been long-standing.

The NOL Board reasonably believes that at this time and in this age, Nenwe Community has endured a lot already, and that we - *all of us* - the Nenwe people, can and should come together to start the difficult conversation of how to restore trust; and therefore prestige,  to the community administration - at all levels.

Although our community may have suffered unthinkable losses in the tangible, and; in the intangible collective assets ,irretrievably, as a result, The NOL Board still believes: *"The Time Is Always Right, To Do What is Right."*

Thank you for being a part of the conscionable majority and in choosing to participate in this Community Dialogue this quarter.
